Thanks to the perseverance of Pueblo Community Health Center 's thorough case management services through the Colorado Springs Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, as well as the Colorado Women's Cancer Control Initiative, more than 1,800 women received cancer screenings in 2004! We were able to detect many early stage cancer patients and arrange for treatment.

Our comprehensive case management program educates the community about the importance of preventive services for breast health and care by encouraging regular exams/screenings and other preventive health care measures. Case management staff members closely monitor Pueblo Community Health Center ’s female patients and provide personalized, comprehensive case management services for breast cancer screenings and follow-up care.
