PCHC strives to provide the highest quality care possible to our patients. We are happy to report that 3 out of 4 PCHC patients see their primary care provider every single year, and that our patients exceed Healthy People’s 2020 goals for hypertension, 1st trimester of entry, and dental sealants. We are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, and we receive support from Pueblo County United Way and Health Resources and Services Administration in order to provide our patients with the best primary care available in Pueblo County.
The United Way Mission: To develop donor resources to enhance the quality of life for the people of Pueblo County.
The AAAHC Mission: To encourage and assist ambulatory health care organizations to provide the highest achievable level of care for recipients in the most efficient and economically sound manner. AAAHC accomplishes this by the operation of a peer-based assessment, consultation, education and accreditation program.
Health centers deliver care to the Nation’s most vulnerable populations, and now, more than ever, the Nation’s veterans. More than 28 million people – 1 in 12 nationwide – rely on a HRSA-funded health center for affordable, accessible primary health care.
