Chad Hess Presented with Exceptional Clinical Leadership Award

(Pueblo, CO, Dec. 8, 2020) – On Friday, November 20, 2020, in a virtual awards ceremony, Chad Hess, PA-C, Associate Medical Director at Pueblo Community Health Center (PCHC) was awarded with the Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS) “Exceptional Clinical Leadership Award” for 2020.

For the past 20+ years, CHAMPS has presented awards to staff and board members of Region VIII Health Centers and related organizations to recognize exceptional contributions to the health center community. This has allowed CHAMPS to honor numerous highly deserving individuals from across the region for their exceptional advocacy, leadership, and dedication to the health center mission.

“Mr. Hess has ably and passionately served at PCHC for over 30 years. As a clinician, he takes pride in delivering quality care to patients. As a leader, he takes pride in helping the organization and staff continuously improve, and practice at the top of their professions,” stated Donald Moore, CEO of PCHC.

“Hess served as the Director of Nursing in PCHC’s “early days” while concurrently carrying a full patient panel and functioning as a PCP, he has served as PCHC's representative to CCAN (Colorado Clinical Advisory Network) for many years, and he continuously upgrades his clinical and administrative skills and education having achieved an MBA, board certification in family medicine, and HITECH certification,” said Moore, “PCHC is lucky to have Chad Hess as a staff member and a leader for the organization.”
